Allen Products was formed in 1985 as a product development company.
In addition to its own product lines, APC began developing private label
installation designs for its OEM accounts in the professional sound market.
Many of these designs include model specific mounting
solutions for loudspeakers.
Starting in 1996, Allen Products began producing time and money saving
universal fit loudspeaker aiming and mounting designs for the contracting
market. These solutions include MultiMount ®, U-Series wall/ceiling mounts,
SocketMount®, Steerables®, PoleStar®, SwivelMount ™and the Adjustables™.
ATM Fly-Ware was formed in 1983 and began creating custom structural
rigging and clustering frames for live sound loudspeakers. Eventually
standard load-rated structural rigging solutions emerged, including the
ever popular AMFS™ modular truss, AFGS™ overhead grids and the
BumperWare™ tight-pack fly bar and the original line-array design,
the
MEGS Series.
Allen Products and ATM Fly-Ware were merged together in 2005 as one
super-supplier of audio mounting and rigging installation equipment,
custom rigs and a complete list of common rigging fasteners and
hardware components.
Adaptive Technologies Group, the parent of Allen Products and ATM Fly-Ware,
brings both mounting and rigging disciplines together for the emerging
video display and digital signage industries, including video walls and
windows and a unique, patent pending, “Concert Video” modular rigging
system for LCD and plasma flat panels.
